Using Weebly

TEMP weeblyToday, we are going to set up a Weebly blog with unique content that hasn’t been published anywhere else before. I have found Weebly to be a very strong site to get a backlink from. So without any further adieu…

  • Go to Weebly.com If you’re new to Weebly, go in and sign up for a new account. Otherwise, just log in.
  • Click “Create a Site”
  • You will see a screen that asks for you to enter a title for your first blog. Use your main theme keyword.
  • Choose a nice design.
  • (You don’t need to add more pages right now.)
  • Click on Elements. You can choose the elements you like. I personally like the “Paragraph with Picture” element. Just drag and drop the modules you like to the page.
  • Upload an image. Use one for your niche.
  • Click to edit the paragraph. Go and grab your new unique article and paste it in. Give it a look to make sure it looks right.
  • - TIP: There’s a little icon in the upper left-hand corner which allows you to take a look at it.
  • Now go in and give it a good title. Make sure your keyword is in the title.
  • - Again, you can click the little icon to look it over.
  • Now for your backlinks - No more than 3 backlinks on this! Find your first instance of your keyword (in your first sentence) and highlight it. Click on the “link” button to add your link to your main site. No need to select the “open in a new window” box.
  • Click Save
  • You can go in and add another link to your keyword at the end of your article.
  • You can also add a category keyword in your article and actually create a link to your main site (either on the main URL or on a blog post about that category keyword).
  • Now all you need to do is hit “Publish” on the top. So do that, and you will get the option to choose a subdomain of Weebly. Choose: http://yourkeyword.weebly.com if it’s available. If it’s not available, you can put a 1 or a 2, such as yourkeyword1.weebly.com or the word “now” or “info”.
  • Click “Continue” to publish your site.
  • (No need to get additional domains if they offer them)

Now you have your new site’s URL. Take a look and see your links. Remember, no more than 3 links! You can go in and add more modules if you want.

Your next step, of course will be to add it to your Directory Submissions program, like Traffic Bug for example.

By the way, did I already mention that your content MUST be original? Oh yes, I did!
